Carried Across By Wind Or Bees

The buds were ready to burst. Full of color, life, expectations. To give back; to show what they would do for you all.

Though like all flowers, the bloom does not last forever. Some will never pollinate. Some may, but the bugs that carry on their chance (their pollen) will be squashed, sprayed, sucked by foulbrood mites, or by natural causes.

Either way, the flowers would die not knowing if they done good. They would die with only hope within the stems or is it in the wilted petals...

I do not want to be a flower.
